抽签及新赛制提案
在新的比赛模式下，将取消小组阶段改为直接淘汰制，不再计入常规赛战绩，从而简化规则，使普通球迷更容易理解。根据这一设想，在首轮中表现最好的几支 NBA 球队将分别迎战发展联盟、欧冠等强队。例如，今年若依此规则进行分组，会产生怎样令人期待的对阵呢？

The event should still be held in Las Vegas but with a twist: The winning team can host next year’s cup. Imagine if teams like Hornets or Pelicans win; they would have home-field advantage in their city! If space is limited due to smaller markets, nearby cities could join as co-hosts.
Name Change Consideration?
"NBA Cup" works well already but what about “Crazy December”? While legal issues might arise from mimicking NCAA traditions directly, moving this event later into the season may allow for fresh branding opportunities such as replacing All-Star Weekend with final four competitions.
